The Singh Foundation is pleased to announce a partnership with Jumpshot Generosity. Jumpshot Generosity is an initiative that empowers underserved and at-risk youth in British Columbia through the transformative power of basketball.
Bob Singh of the Singh Foundation commented, “The work that Emerson Murray and his team are doing at Jumpshot Generosity, directly aligns with our goals of providing opportunities for underserved and at-risk Youth in our community. Jumpshot successfully completed four after schools program in the Fall of 2023 in Surrey. The success of these programs based on feedback from participants, school and district staff has allowed us to extend the program into 2024 with plans to expand the program further.“
Jumpshot Generosity provided 152 pairs of shoes, 165 shirts and over 50 hours of training and mentorship to more than 120 students in the Fall of 2023 while feeding countless more at the camps.
The Singh Foundation continues to support the Surrey School District having provided an additional $40,000 in funding in the Fall of 2023 to the District for various objectives, some of which include: new equipment purchase, sports Jerseys, after school programs, field trip funding, lunchtime basketball programs and academic programs.
